Skip Allum

Birth Date: September 14, 1970

Allum joined Don Prudhomme Racing at the start of the 1999 season where he served as P.R. Manager for Larry Dixon and the MIller Lite Top Fuel dragster team. He continued in that role until midway through the 2002 season before being named General Manager. He handles daily operations of the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company dragster. He also serves as the liaison for each team's major sponsors, including U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co., Jegs, Okuma, and Red Line Oil.  Prior to his involvement in NHRA drag racing, Allum worked at The Robbins Group for four years as a publicist for the Miller Lite/AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour and Target Stores, among other select sporting and celebrity special events. He also worked as P.R. Director for the Long Beach Ice Dogs (IHL) for nearly two seasons before joining Snake Racing. Allum graduated from Tokay High School (Lodi, CA) and Cal State Northridge with a B.A. in Journalism where he also was an All-Conference center on the Matador football team. Skip is single.

Bill “Willie” Wolter
Shop Manager
Hemet, California
Birth Date: August 5, 1948

After 12 seasons on the road with Don Prudhomme Racing serving as a crew member for either Don Prudhomme or Larry Dixon, Wolter retired to an in-house role following the 2001 NHRA season. Wolter's 18th season with Prudhomme will see him supervise purchasing and inventory duties for each of the Snake's drag racing teams, while aiding Prudhomme on special projects including the restoration of some of his old race cars. Prior to joining Snake Racing in 1989, he worked for Larry Minor's drag racing teams from 1979-88. After graduating from Hemet (Calif.) High School, Willie spent 18 months in veterinarian school before serving in the Army. He also worked in house construction for nine years. Afterwards he opened a mechanical shop in Hemet before switching to professional racing as he sand-raced fuel Funny Cars from 1971-76. He then crewed and also saw a limited amount of driving in an NHRA Alcohol Funny Car from 1976-78. Willie and wife Lilly Ann have two children, Hannah and Randy.
