Larry Dixon and the U.S. Smokeless Racing Dragster are qualified no. 14 after the first day of action at the Lucas Oil Summernationals in Englishtown, NJ.
Dixon began the weekend with an opening round lap of 5.000 seconds at 215 mph as he aborted the run early. The second pass saw Dixon lose traction en route to a lap of 5.675 seconds/153 mph.
Antron Brown is the current no.1 Top Fuel qualifier at 4.50 seconds.
Two sessions of qualifying remain on Saturday. There are only 16 top fuel dragsters competing here this weekend.
